What will teacher participants do at the Game-Based Learning (GBL) Institute?
The GBL Institute will be hosted by the CI-5 project team and will be co-facilitated by a fantastic group of 5th grade teachers from AB Combs Elementary that have participated in other CI-5 projects. At the GBL Institute, teacher participants will both learn about the Crystal Island (CI-5) project and will also have the opportunity to interact with other dedicated North Carolina teachers. We hope that teacher participants will come away from the GBL Institute with a sense of the potential Crystal Island has in terms of enriching the 5th grade science curriculum. This project is intended to be an exciting experience for all those involved!
